This is an estimate for guidance only, not a loan approval or eligibility guarantee. Lenders may calculate FOIR differently and consider income stability, credit history, living expenses, existing obligations, employer, loan type, and internal policies.

What is FOIR?

Fixed Obligation to Income Ratio measures monthly debt obligations relative to monthly income. Some lenders also include other fixed obligations.

How is it calculated?

Estimated FOIR = (existing EMIs + other included obligations) ÷ monthly net income × 100.

What does it mean?

A lower FOIR can leave more income available after obligations, but acceptable thresholds differ between lenders and applicants.
